Amber Heard and Silviu Tolu for Guess fall 2011 by Ellen von Unwerth. 

I absolutely love Guess' adverts. Almost each one of them tells a story of a sexy woman going on adventure.. and don't you just wish you were that woman the minute you see the add? I know I do, and this fall's campaign is no exception. I think Amber Heard did a great job portraying a woman of a bygone era. Flirty, fun, classy, yet a bit naughty, probably looking for a rich man to marry, but nothing stops her from having fun with a sexy cowboy. And why not!? We have only one life.. might as well enjoy it while we can ;)

New Hotel, Athens

New Hotel was designed by Brazilian designers Humberto and Fernando Campana. I think I've mentioned them when I came back from Milan in April. They are the amazing talent behind EDRA Designs (some of them). These armchairs - "Leather Works", were designed by them.

"Favela" armchair was also designed by the Campana Brothers for EDRA.

I really like the idea with photos on the wall.

Love the design of this freestanding washbasin. It would though look so much better with a different type of flooring.

"Walls in the reception and restaurant are covered in a jumble of wooden scraps like those used for the designer’s famous Favela Chairs, which can be found in some of the bedrooms."

Aren't the Campana Brothers just amazing?!  Such an inspiration for any designer.

The New Hotel came out very unusual and unique, as all of their designs. I hope one day to achieve what they have.
