Temporary Museum of New Design. Part 1

I cannot believe it's already June and I'm still catching up with Milan Design week, but these things just have to be shared. Better late than never :)

When I visited "Temporary Museum for new Design" by Superstudio Piu in Via Tortona, 27, back when I went to Milan Design week (ages ago).. One of the first things I remember seeing is "Flux" chair by Douwe Jacobs and Tom Schouten.

It is actually quite comfortable (although everything seems comfortable when you spend 15 hours a day walking with a suitcase and a camera on your neck.. I'm not complaining though!)

This chair is made of polypropylene and can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is also foldable so you can use it in small spaces (or carry it with you instead of a suitcase when you go to fairs)

And in comes in different colors :)

Also on the entrance was a little relaxing area by Punkalive with chaise louges designed by Karim Rashid:

Punkalive High Roller Chaise, 2011

Punkalive Low Roller Chaise, 2011

One of the first pavillions you enter was Canon.

Pictures really don't do any justice.. Well, at least mine don't. Still planning to take those photography classes..
Now I will probably loose track of what followed, so just enjoy the pictures :))
Monika Gora & No Picnic

ALMA social swings by No Picnic.
All these pieces were designed by Swedish designers. You can fins more information about them here.

Pictures by me (except of the ones of Flux in different colors).

All of these companies deserve a post each (at least one), but there's never enough time unfortunately. Hope you enjoyed our little tour :)

Happy Monday!
Yours, KB
