My dream is to have an old Tuscan villa one day. I would absolutely love to come to Italy as often as I can. Buy an old house, restore it and decorate it in a mix of traditional Tuscan style with some contemporary and some antique pieces.. It's a nice thing to be able to dream and visualize what it would look like.
However, until I can actually do that, my dreams will be taking me to this stunning hotel in Chianti - Villa Sassolini ****
The combination of grays, browns and whites; wood and stone; old and new. It has a history. Maybe not as old as Palazzo Pitti ou Medici, but it's a history still in making..
