Life al Fresco by Home Journal

Tina Atkinson's home in Clearwater Bay was featured in Hong Kong's Home Journal this month and it looks great. I think they have achieved everything they wanted with it: floor-to-ceiling glass windows let lots of natural light in and open the view to the gorgeous scenery, which was the idea as the owners wanted to bring the outside into the house. I also really like the mixture of styles used. The furniture does not overcrowd the house, a lot of space left open which gives the house an airy feel.

The sunken sitting area makes the terrace more comfortable and less formal, not to mention it will be a great entertainment for the owners, kids and guests. Fancy watching a movie on the terrace at a sunset? ;)

Really like the detail of this staircase.

Lovely bath form TOTO and bar stools from Magis.

The integration of the bathroom with the dressing room is a new different concept. I haven't decided yet how practical that would be, but hey it definitely looks good!

Pouffes from Casalis also add a funky casual look to a sophisticated bedroom.
